Farah Kassem
Born in Tripoli, Lebanon, Farah Kassem graduated from ALBA University with a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Visual studies and completed a Master’s degree in documentary filmmaking at DocNomads in Portugal, Hungary, and Belgium. Farah dedicates most of her time to filming, editing, and directing documentaries. Her filmography includes award-winning short documentaries that have competed in Visions du Réel, Warsaw Film Festival, DOK Leipzig, Dubai International Film Festival, and many others. Her upcoming debut feature documentary in post-production, "We are inside", has participated at several platforms and international pitching forums. It was lately awarded the best rough-cut project at IDFA Forum 2020 and the IFT Prize 2020 at Carthage Film Festival’s Atelier Takmil. Farah has recently started her doctoral research in the Arts at KU Leuven in Belgium
